What is your time worth?

A Chef of Your Own will plan the menu, grocery shop, cook, package and label with heating instructions and clean up.

What can you be doing with all that time?

Sample Fees

Standard Plan

5 entrees with appropriate side dishes for 4 people (20 meals) - $425 *
4 entrees with appropriate side dishes for 4 people (16 meals) - $380 *
3 entrees with appropriate side dishes for 4 people (12 meals) - $330 *

Singles Plan

5 entrees with appropriate side dishes for 2 people (10 meals) - $385 *
4 entrees with appropriate side dishes for 2 people (8 meals) - $340 *
3 entrees with appropriate side dishes for 2 people (6 meals) - $290 *

Entree Only

Family sized entrée; you provide the salad or vegetable sides
5 Entree type dishes with no sides for 4 people - $350*

*This includes the cost of groceries. Additional fees may apply for certain organic or gourmet items.

Prices available on request for other packages; additional items such as soups, salads or dessert.

Additional Information

  • The State of Connecticut requires 6.35% sales tax on all services.
  • Customers located outside of Hartford County will be charged an extra $40 for travel time.
  • Payment in full is due one week prior to the date of service (cash or check).
  • Cancellation policy: Three business days' notice is required to avoid a cancellation fee of $50.
  • Special Discount: Refer a friend and receive 10% off your next service.
  • There is a container fee of $40.00 for disposable containers.
  • The cost for packaging meals in individual portions is $25.00.
  • There may be an additional fee for nutritional analysis of menus or other special services.
